For students who are still working towards your degree, we want to make sure you gain the knowledge and skills in your courses to be successful in landing a great paying job and have several options for you:
Option 1: If you have met the requirements for your course(s) this semester, your instructor will work with you and you will be given the option to receive either a letter grade (A-F) or a pass/fail grade for the work completed up until this point. Both options will allow credit to be earned for the course(s), but letter grades count toward your GPA while pass/fail grades do not.
Option 2: If you have not met all of the requirements for your course(s) this semester, the following options apply:
A. We will offer an extended spring semester for you to return to the lab as soon as it is safe to do so. Upon completion of course requirements, you can earn a letter grade or a pass/fail grade for the course.
B. You can choose an “in progress” grade (IP) for the course(s) and complete the course requirements within the specified timeline issued.
C. You can choose to drop one or more of your courses this semester with no Academic penalty. A grade o f "W" (withdrawal) will be issued and will not count toward the 6-drop limit.
Our goal is for instructors to meet with each student to determine what works best for your unique circumstances in each course you are taking this spring semester. Should you have further questions, your Enrollment Coach will be glad to meet with you and help facilitate the conversation with your instructor.
